Greenberg (2010)
Greenberg (Ben Stiller) is at a crossroads in his life. Out of a job and none too interested in finding one, he agrees to housesit for his younger and more successful brother, thereby getting a free place to stay in Los Angeles. Once settled in, Greenberg sets out to reconnect with his old friend and former bandmate Ivan (Rhys Ifans). But times have changed, and old friends aren’t necessarily still best friends, so Greenberg finds himself spending more and more time instead with his brother’s personal assistant Florence (Greta Gerwig), an aspiring singer and herself something of a lost soul. As their relationship develops through a series of embarrassingly awkward romantic encounters, even someone as irascible as Greenberg might have at last found a reason to be happy.

Kula Shaker emerged in the 1990s as an expansive, psychedelic group immersed in hippie mysticism and eclectic musical pasts and futures. Breaking up in 1999 after playing under a solar eclipse seemed like perfect poetry. But as the new millennium firmed up, a majority of band members saw fit to reconfigure and seek new sounds together. Political commentary informs many of the tunes, including the swooning anti-Iraq war slow dance of “Die For Love,” the meandering Hurricane Katrina addressing “Hurricane Season” and the surprisingly plucky “Great Dictator (of the Free World).” But while the messages occasionally veer to the more overt, the sound remains diverse, experimental and surreal. “Song of Love / Narayana” is a multi-track sensation with grand vocal choirs, sweeping keyboard beeps, short, divine guitar solos and rhythms that turn back on themselves. “Shadowlands” uses an icy Lennon-esque vocal echo and piano to deliver its sweet love song. It’s easy to lose yourself in this music hall of mirrors.

Jorge Campos aka El Brody aka Chiqui-Campos)
Jorge Francisco Campos Navarrete (nicknamed El Brody or Chiqui-Campos) (born October 15, 1966 in Acapulco) is a retired Mexican footballer who played as a goalkeeper. One of the most notable Mexican players of the 1990s, Campos was a particularly eccentric player, known for his constant play outside the penalty area, his acrobatic style in goal, and his colorful attire. His strength in goal was his leaping ability and speed, which made him able to overcome his relatively short height of 5 ft 8 in (1.73 m). Campos also made for an effective striker, an example of rare versatility in football. At times, he would start a game in goal, and transfer upfield later in the match, mostly at the club level. His trademark, self-designed bright kits contributed to his popularity.

Slum Village Manifesto
New album Slum Village is coming.
It will feature the group's roster of T3, Elzhi & Baatin & also Dilla on some tracks
They recently shot a video for their single "Cloud 9" with Baatin before he passed away at the age of 35 on July 31, 2009
Production on the album will come from Madlib, Pete Rock, Mr. Porter, Focus, Karriem Riggins, Black Milk & Waajeed. Dwele & Colin Munroe are both confirmed to be on the album.
